Ljubiša Diković
New Chief of the Serbian Army Staff
 
Following  a  decree  by  Boris Tadić,  General-Lieutenant Ljubisa Diković has been appointed as Chief of the Army of Serbia, as said in a statement from  the  Presidency  of  Serbia.  Ljubisa  Diković was  born  in  1960  in  Užice.  After  high  school, Mr Diković graduated from the Military Academy Belgrade at the Department of Infantry. In 1996, he  went  through  Command  Staff  Specialization where  he  exercised  and  completed  studies  at the  National  School  of  Defence  in  2000.  Ljubisa Diković is married and has two children.
 
Nikolina Bobić
New Executive Director of ABC Serbia
 
From  the  1st  November,  the  new  Executive Director of the ABC Srbija has been Nikolina Bobić (29), who graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Novi Sad’s Media Management Department. Currently, Nikolina is partaking in specialist  Media Advertising  studies  at  the  Faculty  of Dramatic  Arts,  University  of  Belgrade.  She  was born in Karlovac, Croatia, in 1982. Her primary and secondary  education  was  completed  in  Belgrade. Nikolina  came  to  ABC  Srbija  from  the  company RRC, Russia, and started her successful performance as the executive manager responsible for the development of ABCAudienceGemius project.
Nikolina Bobic speaks English and has been a member of MENSA since 2001.
 
Jelena Ćetković
New Director for Corporate Communications,
Simpo a.d
 
Jelena  Ćetković  returned  to  Simpo  after  being  Director  of  Communications  at  Robne  kuce Beograd  d.o.o.  Previously,  she  worked  for  four years at SIMPO, as a manager who, in addition to public relations duties, showed her commitment to the development of the brands and groups advertising. She started her career in the Ogilvy-Spectra agency in 2001, where she worked as a PR manager for key agency clients such as Unilever, Johnnie Walker, Wiener Städtische, Parking Service, Famis
and  many  others.  Prior  to  that,  Jelena  spent  six years working as an editor, journalist and presenter of the central news program “Day” on TV Politika.
Jelena speaks both English and French, and is an economist.
 
Costin Borc 
New President of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC)
 
Costin  Borc,  General  Manager  of  Lafarge BFC,  was  elected  President  of  the  Board  of Directors of the Foreign Investors Council at the regular  annual  session  of  the Assembly  held  on December 7th.
Goran  Pitić,  President  of  the  Board  of Directors  of  Societe  Generale  Bank  Serbia,  will hold  the  post  of  FIC  Vice  President  elected  as substitute  to  the  FIC  President.  Gabor  Bekefi, CEO  of  Carlsberg  South  East  Europe,  will  hold
the post of FIC Vice President elected as spokesperson of the Association.
Other members of the Board of Directors include  the  General  Manager  of  British American Tobacco  South  East  Europe  Douglas  Lafferty, Managing  Director  of  Delhaize  Serbia  David Vander  Schueren,  Managing  Director  of  FIAT Automobili   Srbija  Antonio   Cesare   Ferrara, President and General Manager of Henkel Serbia Georg  Grassl,  Managing  Director  of  PepsiCo Western  Balkans  Vassilis  Glinos  and  CEO  of Telenor Kjell-Morten Johnsen.
Newly elected FIC President Costin Borc presented the team that will lead the Association in the next two years.
 
Dragan Tomić
Re-elected for the President of the Shareholders Assembly of Simpo Vranje
 
At  the  general  meeting  of  the  Shareholders Assembly of Simpo Vranje, Serbia’s largest furniture producer, the delegates made a unanimous decision to re-elect Dragan Tomić (74) to the position of President. The assembly was held on the 48th anniversary of the company.
Dragan  Tomic  has  headed  Simpo  continuously since 1967 - at a time when the business was  facing  bankruptcy  –  and  over  the  decades has created a world-class company. Immediately after  the  election,  Tomic  said  that  in  the  year 2012  Simpo  will  increase  production  by  45  percent, exports by 65 percent, and sales in Serbia by 35 percent.
 
Zoran Mitrović
New CEO of the Victoria Group
 
Mr.  Mitrović  was  one  of  the  founders  of  the Victoria Group in 2001, which today employs over 1800 employees in 11 companies.
As  leader  of  the  company  that  he  founded  and  developed  into  a  successful  business system,  Zoran  Mitrović  has  extensive  experience  in  organizational  and  financial  restructuring of companies, corporate analyses and evaluations, as well as monitoring and controlling capital  investments.  He  was  project  manager  of  the company’s  recapitalization  European  Bank  for Reconstruction  and  Development  and  the  sponsor  of  the  PriceWaterhouse  Coopers  project to  improve  corporate  governance.  He  participated  in  the  annual  Citi  Bank  IPO  conference in  London  (2010  and  2011);  EBRD  Conference “Invest  in  Serbia”  (2010),  “Fighting  food  inflation through sustainable investment” organized by the Food  and Agriculture  Organization  of  the  United Nations  and  the  EBRD  (2008), Annual  Business Forum  in  Kiev  (2008).  Zoran  Mitrović  is  a  member  of  the  Serbian  Association  of  Managers, Serbian  Chamber  of  Commerce, AHK  Germany and Serbian-British Business Club.
