Miloš Bugarin, re-appointed Chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce
Miloš Bugarin has been re-appointed the Chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce at the first constitutional sitting of the Chamber’s Assembly by a unamimous vote. Miloš Bugarin was born in Bijelo Polje, in 1962, where he completed his high school education. He graduated from the Belgrade Faculty of Agriculture in 1988. His first job was in the Belgrade Agricultural Combine (PKB) in 1989 where he had various managerial duties. He was appointed the CEO of PKB in 2011. In his capacity as the CEO of PKB, he received several presigeous awards.
Miroslav Miletic, new Chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce’s Supervisory Board
CEO of Bambi Corporation, Miroslav Miletic (53) has been appointed Chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce’s Supervisory Board. He graduated from the Belgrade Faculty of Law and began working for Bambi in 1982. In October 1995, he became the company’s CEO. Today, he is the President of the Bambi Concern. In September 2007, Miletic was elected Chairman of the Assembly of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce. Miroslav Brkovic, CEO of the Ratko Mitrovic Company, was appointed Miletic’s deputy. Ljubiša Jovanovic, Chairman of AIK Bank’s Managing Board is the President of the Financial Affairs. Commission, while his deputy is Managing Director of FAP Corporatio a.d. Priboj, Mirko Stojovic.
Michael S. Rhoads, new Vice President and General Director of U. S. Steel Serbia
Michael S. Rhoads has been appointed vice president and general director of U.S. Steel Serbia effective as of July 1st. Rhoads will be responsible for overseeing all the activities of U. S. Steel Serbia. Michael Rhoads (37) joined U. S. Steel in 1994 as a co-op employee at the Clairton Coke Plant. In 2007 Rhoads advanced through several positions and was appointed Plant Manager – Keetac Iron Ore Operations, until his most recent appointment as Division Manager of Steel Making and Casting at Gary Works in Gary, Indiana in 2009. From this position he came to U. S. Steel Serbia. Rhoads graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and completed his master’s degree in business administration at Duquesne University in 2002. Michael, his wife Heather and their two children will relocate to Serbia.
Georg Grassl, new Managing Director of Henkel Serbia
Georg Grassl was appointed as the Managing Director of Henkel Serbia on the 1st June 2010. His new position as the General Manager of Henkel Serbia comes after working as the Supply Chain Director for Laundry & Home Care in Central and Eastern Europe for almost six years. He was also a member of the company’s Board of Directors in Hungary. For the most part of his career, he lived and worked in Vienna (which is his birthplace), Budapest and Barcelona.
Živomir Novakovic, acting director of Galenika
Following radical changes within the management of state-owned pharmaceutical giant Galenika, Zivomi Novakovic is appointed as the acting Director of the company replacing former director Nenad Ognjenovic, who was relieved, together with the most of the company’s management, by the Government. Zivomi Novakovic graduated in Economics from Belgrade University and has a wealth of experience in financial operations.
