CorD Magazine, established in December 2003, is an independent English-language monthly publication, which is published in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, by company Alliance Media.
CorD’s target readership comprises the leaders of economic, political and diplomatic corps (as the name suggests), as well as the wider foreign community in the Republic of Serbia: private industry leaders, NGO representatives, international mission staff, et al.
CorD’s readers also include Serbian citizens seeking an objective, balanced, alternative publication. These readers include Serbia’s political leaders and MPs, business leaders, academics, cultural sector practitioners, entertainment professionals, students, etc.
In line with its principle of objectivity, its mission of increasing international understanding of Serbia and its key aim of facilitating communication between Serbia and the world, CorD engages freelance journalists and editors from Serbia’s best media companies and also publishes commentaries and columns by members of the international community in Serbia, political commentators, analysts and local leaders.
As both a current affairs and lifestyle magazine, CorD includes sections covering such varied domains as politics, economics, diplomacy, society, leisure, culture and sport.
CorD is financed purely through subscription and advertising. It receives no support from any donor organisations and is in no way affiliated with any political party or doctrine.
